Friday saw a fantastic fashion show put on by the 1st years - They've spent the last few months creating edgy fashion out of mundane objects and throw away products. The Forum Hall was transformed as students strutted their creations down the catwalk in what turned out to be a really impressive display. Here are a few shots!...

Using a dress I made out of straws for our recycled fashion project, I wanted to capture models comformity to being skinny. Industry gives us false hope, and using a lack of lighting and a beautiful ambiguous model, it shows the constant battle between what is right and wrong and the fight for identity within the industry. Shown in the simplest form of black and white.
